Cotswold & Co Summer Soiree
Last week I got invited to the beautiful Cotswold & Co store in Chelmsford’s Bond Street for a fab evening of tropical themed fun to celebrate the launch of the new soft furnishings range in store. The evening was hosted by the gorgeous Emilee of Frolic & Fro, as well as the equally wonderful Amy and Harriet from the Cotswold & Co team. I was really excited about this event as I knew there would be lots of lovely local bloggers in attendance and I also got to take my sister Sarah along for the evening, which was an added bonus as we very rarely get to spend a girlie evening together.
The theme for the event was a ‘Summer Soiree’, with delicious tropical cocktails on arrival from the always lovely Tiptree company. Sarah had a raspberry gin one and mine was spiced rum, made from Tiptree’s gorgeous artisan alcohol range and they were served up in lovely glass jam jars which were also tropical themed!
I was really excited to get to have a look at the new collection. I hadn’t visited the store before and its honestly one of the most inviting and warm furniture and interiors spaces I’ve ever been in. The store is huge and there’s plenty of space to wander through the ranges without feeling rushed. The staff are warm and welcoming and there was plenty to see, not just furniture, but accessories too (which I never knew)! Here’s a few pieces that caught my eye…
I fell in love with this stylish AND practical dresser…it went straight on my Christmas list (just saying)
Loved the mustard and the bumblebee print of these napkins.
After a good look round it was time for a yummy treat in the pineapple and flower shape of an iced cookie from the lovely Honeywell Biscuit Company (I loved these) as well as an extra special treat in the form of a manicure from the fab London Grace.
After all that pampering and treats it was time to head home but not without one last look through the collections.
