Creating loved & memorable brands

Wonder Paper Studio
works with businesses who are:

You’ve got a fresh idea and you’re at the start of your business journey. You’ve got clearly defined goals and you want a visual toolkit to match - one that will transform with you and help you stand out amongst competitors.

You’re so passionate about what you do but your branding doesn’t reflect this. You might have launched with a DIY logo but your marketing efforts aren’t cohesive as you’ve not got the right tools, so you’re not attracting the right kind of customers and clients.

You’ve added a new service or product, your customers have changed with you and you want a new look and feel to truly represent your offerings and the people you serve.

How does a well-considered, authentic brand toolkit actually benefit a business and in turn influence sales?

FAQ

Consistent, well thought out branding, with a solid strategy helps customers and clients not only remember you, but builds trust - in time, influencing sales and visibility. By truly understanding your target audience and crafting a brand tool kit based on authenticity,
you will create relationships that last.

The booking & design process for branding & identity

01

Booking

Once we’ve decided to work together, a booking contract and invoice will be sent to you via email. We’ll agree on a start date and once your deposit invoice has been paid, a project timeline will be created. I always ask clients to be available for feedback during the design process, so the timeline means the project moves along nicely.

02

Strategy & discovery

Great foundations, build strong brands, so the next stage is all about getting to know you and your business.  I’ll send over some discovery exercises and we’ll spend some time getting to know all the details, your industry and competitors and those all important ideal customers and clients. This is also a good time to think about your print and digital roll out for marketing: website design, social media graphics, business cards -  all the things that will help make your business consistently shine.

03

Initial moodboards & concepts

Two initial branding concepts will then be created, alongside accompanying moodboards and the considered reasons behind my design choices.  These will include primary and secondary logos, brand marks, colour palettes, font choices/styling and image direction. Mock ups with these elements in situ will be created so you can really envision your new brand, as well as first drafts of any included marketing roll out.

04

Refining & transformation

Here we’ll review and refine the elements together to fully reveal your finished brand tool kit.

05

Final files and launch

Once everything has been signed off, I’ll set to work on creating your final files. You will also receive a brand guidelines document and any final versions of marketing items you requested at the start of the project.  Everything will be delivered in time for your launch date, alongside your final project invoice. Once the project has ended, I always check in regularly to see if there’s anything else I can help with as your business grows.

Project timeframe

6-8 weeks from start to finish.

A note from me

If you have a specific request about brand design that isn’t detailed here, then please feel free to get in touch via the form on my contact page. With every project I take on, you can expect great communication and reliability, as well as a commitment to excellence.

TOTAL COST:

From £1800 + font licenses (if applicable)

Payment is split into two payments. I kindly ask for a deposit payment of 50% before the start of your project. This ensures your design time is booked out in my diary. The remaining 50% will be invoiced 6-8 weeks later, alongside your final files and brand guide being delivered. This splits the total cost of the project into two payments.

Client words

“I am so grateful to have found Emma. She really is a pleasure to work with. I went through a complete re brand and was looking for a designer who could create a whole package. I was worried that I wouldn't find someone who would understand my vision and that at the end of the process I wouldn't like the final design. My worries were instantly laid to rest once I spoke to Emma. ”

Branding FAQS

  • Your primary logo is your principal brand mark - it forms the base of your visual toolkit. Your secondary logos, brand marks and patterns should be more responsive, meaning they can be adapted to the space they sit within, such as a small social media icon, portrait layout or landscape screen size. Keeping everything consistent (but not just slapping the same logo on everything) tells your brand story in the best possible way.

  • While a single logo might seem like the only thing needed to launch your business, it won’t tell your full story or fully represent all you have to offer. You’ll also likely have to change this many times over. This is the reason why I only offer a complete branding design service with a fully equipped toolkit. Every element created within the branding and identity package are visual, responsive assets that are going to help tell your story on a deeper level for many years to come.

  • During the strategy and discovery stage, we’ll think about all the items that you might need to launch (or relaunch) your business. Things like a website, social media graphics, business cards, pitch deck documents and more.

  • With the project cost, all quoted items will be delivered as detailed in your design plan. Certain font choices will come with a small font license fee, as well as any stock imagery licenses needed - all of which are agreed prior to finalizing your brand toolkit. Things like professional photography costs and specific illustration styles that I am currently unable to offer in house, may also need to be considered.

  • During the project the majority of our communication will take place through email and digital forms, such as recorded screen shares. I’m happy to schedule calls to talk through strategy or any process questions but having everything either written down or recorded means generally nothing gets missed and important items can be re- read or replayed as needed. It also saves time for busy business owners.

  • Once you’ve decided to go ahead with the project, I will send you a booking form to sign along with a deposit invoice. Once the deposit invoice has been paid I will create a timeline for the project and the design process will start on our agreed date. I’m usually booked up in advance, so if you have a launch date in mind and you would like to work together then please do get in touch.
