The brief
Rock the Day were initially Rock the Day Styling and were mainly focusing on making amazing props for the wedding industry. Their initial branding was DIY’d and owner Laura felt that it was a bit too ‘wedding led’ as they also wanted to create props for corporate events and festivals. They wanted their new branding to represent their core values: commitment to bringing the clients vision to life - Passion! Being passionate about what they create and making a difference - being positive, keeping promises, reliability, focusing on detail.
With these things in mind, we went on to create a stand out toolkit, using a playful colour palette of navy, hot pink and bright coral. We kept the original lightening bolt but updated the illustration to give it a cleaner, contemporary look and feel. We also extended their brand tool kit with responsive logos and painted patterns.
