The La Las are an Essex based all female choir, singing for fun and fundraising since 2018. They have raised over £6.5k for charities so far, including Winston’s Wish, The Brain Tumour Charity, Farleigh Hospice and The British Heart Foundation.

The brief

For The La Las branding elements, we wanted to create something with a celebratory feel that would encompass the positive and joyfulness that the choir gets when they perform together. As there is a lot of laughing when the choir rehearse and meet, a sense of fun and playfulness had to be incorporated. We also wanted elements that would be changeable and moveable linking to the theme of growth and how far the choir had come in just a year of singing together. As an all female choir, we wanted to keep a feminine feel, so pink was a colour that was chosen as a primary colour to be used. The navy and gold tones complimented well for contrast, but still remained soft and contemporary.

Roll out items included t shirts for performances, tote bags for choir practice, social media graphics to promote the performances of the choir online, as well as printed flyers for community spaces, using more traditional marketing in local areas.
